My name is Domenico Goi and I’m an Italian collagist who specialises in works of figurative expressionism, the approach that most closely speaks to my way of seeing and creating. Life to me is itself one sprawling collage, and the world a stage that constantly mixes, crumbles, and reassembles itself in countless new ways.

That’s what makes a collage artist especially suited to interpret reality, and what I admire so much about the discipline. To engage with a collage is to surrender to a whirlwind of intricate and mysterious meanings. A collage isn’t created so much as excavated—it’s the kind of work that’s not bound by rules but thrives off the encounter with unexpected planes and textures, forms and figures.

My works have been displayed in festivals and galleries in Brussels, Milan, Berlin and Thessaloniki, among others. The ones you see here are some that I’m especially proud of.
